2) Why did you pick that team name?

My older daughter plays club softball for the AZ HOTSHOTS and we felt the name fit the sport of basketball better.

3) Who would you compare your coaching style to and why?

With all the respect in the world Coach K. I attended his coaching clinic and was blown away. A very mild tempered coach that gets the most out of his players. He truly has respect for the game. Ironically I like Roy Williams as well. He has a cool name!

4) Why did you become a coach?

I have a true love and passion for learning and teaching the game of basketball at all levels. I also have a passion for girl’s basketball and with help from the other clubs out there and the success of Arizona State and the Phoenix Mercury we try to keep their dreams alive.

5) What kind of player do you look for?

I look for coachable, competitive, hard working players that want to be a part of a good strong basketball family.

6) What have you accomplished as a coach?

Making a difference in the players I coach and seeing players I’ve coached playing D1, D2, or JC is a great accomplishment for me.

7) Where do you want your players to be 4 years from now, 10 years from now?

In 4 years I want my players to be the best student athletes they can be. Pushing themselves both academically and athletically to prepare for there futures.

In 10 years they should look back with no regrets, be proud and ready to be strong, hard working, respectful adults wherever life takes them.
