Why did you pick that team name?

We are one of the first girls club teams in the West Valley.

Who would you compare your coaching style to and why?

Like Coach Rick Pitino, our philosophy is, "constant pressure defensively and constant motion offensively". Of course, Coach John Wooden's philosophy on the court and in life has been inspirational.

Why did you become a coach?

I've loved basketball since the first time I played in elementary school. With limited opportunites as a female athlete in the past, I hope to encourage our young girls today to reach their fullest potential on the court. I have obtained knowledge of the game through high school and college experience. I have always been a student of the game and I hope to share my knowledge and love of basketball with our young female athletes.

What kind of player do you look for?

I look for players willing to work hard, be team players, and have positive attitudes.

What have you accomplished as a coach?

Success is not measured with trophies or championships but with team and individual growth. Development is our goal and championships may be an end result.

Where do you want your players to be 4 years from now, 10 years from now?

I would like my players to apply the positive life skills and values they have obtained on the court such as working hard, working as a team, good health habits, perseverance, and responsibility.
